The question is: What is social capital and what role does it play in the reproduction of the soft power of Iran? Has the political system of Iran been able to exploit social capital to increase its soft power?The research method in this research is a survey and information gathering tool is interview.correlation analysis has been used by qualitative method. The statistical population was the faculty members of the political sciences and social sciences community of the universities of the country and a sample of 13 honorable professors The findings are as follows:Three characteristics of trust, cohesion, participation are considered as the main elements of social capital. The undesirable and unfavorable state of social capital, the decline of social trust due to social distrust, structural corruption, and neglect of civil institutions in Iran. Culture, religion, Islamic identity, national identity and revolutionary ideology are elements and elements of the soft power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. . مقاله حاضر بدنبال بررسی رابطـه سـرمایه اجتماعی با قدرت نرم در جمهوری اسلامی ایران می‌باشد. پرسش اساسی این است که: سرمایه اجتماعی چه رابطه‌ای با قدرت نرم جمهوری اسلامی ایران دارد؟ و آیا نظام سیاسی جمهوری اسلامی ایران توانسته است از سرمایه اجتماعی برای افزایش قدرت نرم خود بهره برداری مناسب انجام دهد؟ روش تحقیق در این پژوهش، پیمایشی و ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات، مصاحبه می‌باشد. در این پژوهش از تحلیل همبستگی به روش کیفی استفاده شده است. جامعه آماری پژوهش حاضر اساتید رشته علوم سیاسی و علوم اجتماعی دانشگاه‌های کشور و نمونه آماری 13 نفر (پس از اشباع نظری) ( که در زمینه سرمایه اجتماعی یا قدرت نرم صاحب قلم و اثر بوده اند) مورد مصاحبه قرار گرفته اند. یافته‌ها نشان داد که سرمایه اجتماعی در ایران به دلایل مختلفی دارای وضعیت مطلوبی نبوده و برهمین اساس امکان بهره گیری از آن در راستای قدرت نرم به خوبی فراهم نشد. در عین حال جمهوری اسلامی ایران از منابع هویتی قدرتمندی همچون مبانی اسلامی، هویت تاریخی ایرانی و نمادهای مدرن همچون بنیان‌های مردمسالاری (دموکراتیک) برای تقویت سرمایه اجتماعی و به تبع آن قدرت نرم برخوردار است که می‌تواند از آنها بهره برداری کند. https://www.rahyaftjournal.ir/article_85563_58f7440aabc3df03db045678f5b7ad39.pdf
