Abstract
The subject of this article is the relationship between Mohammad Reza Shah's personality traits and foreign policy based on psychological dependence. The article seeks to answer the question of how the Shah's personality traits have been dependent on foreign policy. The main hypothesis is that the Shah's family upbringing based on Reza Shahi's tyranny on the one hand and the diversity of Mohammad Reza's educational environments on the other hand had caused the Shah's personality to grow in dependence and seek support. He was looking at the title "Father". The results of the research show that due to the presence of Reza Shah as a powerful person in the personal and political life of Mohammad Reza Shah, he could never get out of his father's psychological control and in political interactions he has always been looking for a supporter. An example of this can be seen in the Shah's escape against personalities such as Mossadegh, Amini and finally Imam Khomeini (PBUH). In all of this he sought the return of American presidents. The research method in this article is descriptive-historical and the research data is collected in a library manner by taking notes.
