Abstract
The concept of "securitization" is one of the main components of the schools of Copenhagen and Paris. This study seeks to answer the main question "What security Theory can be better explaining of the United States actions against the Islamic Republic?" The hypothesis is that "abnormal tools such as pursuing a policy of regime change, "economic sanctions , The military invasion of Iran, the maritime confrontation in the Persian Gulf and ... the United States uses it in confronting the "Islamic Republic", "securitization" the "Islamic Revolution" by various US presidents. " Therefore, the theory of securitization is used because, in the "securitization" (in Copenhagen school), the security actor (here, the US Presidents), the security issue (here the "Islamic Revolution") poses a threat to the survival of a reference object (Here is the nation or national security of the United States, ...) that they have the right to survive. In survival, there is a point without a return, which indicates that it is too late to act, so that it can not be assigned to a normal policy. Because of this, the security sector uses abnormal tools to survive the reference (here it follows the "Regime Change" policy and so on).
